What Season 1 of Bodyguard

David Budd is a sergeant with the London Metropolitan Police and a veteran of Afghanistan. He suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, and his marriage is falling apart. After talking a jihadist out of detonating her suicide vest on a train, he becomes a hero and is handed a job he doesn't want: protecting Julia Montague, the ambitious and intelligent Home Secretary, whose political views he despises. Living and working together is a constant clash. Soon, a foiled attack at his children's school and suspicions of leaks within the department put Budd at the center of the conflict. His personal and professional loyalties begin to collide.
