What Season 1 of Club de Cuervos

The series opens with the death of Salvador Iglesias, president and owner of the first-division soccer club "Cuervos de Nuevo Toledo" and a major public figure who helped drive the town's economic development. After his death, his children Salvador "Chava" Iglesias, Jr. and Isabel Iglesias compete to take control of the team.

On the one hand, Chava draws inspiration from his father's last words ("Be a captain") and decides to take over the presidency of the team, aiming to turn it into "the Real Madrid of Latin America," despite his inexperience and egotism. On the other hand, Isabel, a neurotic and controlling person, believes she is the only one capable of keeping the team together and preventing its relegation. All of this gets complicated with the arrival of Mary Luz Solari, who claims to be pregnant with Salvador's child and demands a third of his inheritance (something Chava agrees with, but Isabel completely rejects).

The tensions between Chava and Isabel grow as the team falls apart, affecting the club's executives, sponsorships and relationships between players, and even risking relegation. It is a portrait of the conflicts that arise within a soccer club, seen from the perspective of its top leadership.
