What Season 1 of Foundation

Hari Seldon, a mathematician and psychology professor, has created psychohistory, a science that predicts the behavior of large masses over enormous periods of time. His calculations foresee the fall of the Galactic Empire, which is ruled from Trantor by a dynasty of clones of Cleon I. Seldon seeks a mind capable of understanding his work, and the competition is won by Gaal Dornick, a young woman from Synnax, where seeking knowledge is heresy. Upon reaching the imperial capital, Gaal becomes trapped between the dynasty and Seldon's schools. The Foundation sets out on a long journey to Terminus, where Gaal and Raych grow closer and closer, while the Empire must make a difficult decision.
