What Season 3 of Rurouni Kenshin
The season kicks off in 1878, the eleventh year of the Meiji era. Kenshin, a former Ishin Shishi, arrives in Tokyo, and Kaoru attacks him, believing he is the Hitokiri Battōsai. Kenshin decides to help her restore the reputation of her fencing school, which has been tarnished by a fake Battōsai. Based at the dōjō, the group faces ruffians, bandits and a dog that drags a dangerous gang to their door. Kaioh plots to overthrow the Meiji government, while the Black Knights hunt for a miracle medicine they hope will let them rule the world. Kenshin, Kaoru, Sanosuke and Yahiko travel across the country in pursuit of that medicine, with ninjas lurking along the way.
