What Season 4 of The Avengers

John Steed, played by Patrick Macnee, is the centerpiece of these espionage cases and works alongside Emma on most investigations. Both must move carefully to stop those threatening the country. Each episode presents a different mystery: a village where agents vanish, a hospital with strange operations, a department store elevator, a Scottish castle or a karate school. The suspects range from landowners and high-IQ clubs to secret military societies. Steed and Emma are always one step behind the dangers surrounding them, and that sets the pace for the entire season.
