What Season 1 of Manhunt
The season begins in 1995, when the FBI follows the trail of Ted Kaczynski, the man who mailed bombs from a cabin in Montana to protest technology and the destruction of nature. His attacks left three dead and twenty-three injured. Jim Fitzgerald, a new profiler, joins the team trying to identify the culprit before he strikes again. Sam Worthington and Paul Bettany lead the cast, and Bettany plays Kaczynski himself. The pressure to catch the bomber shapes every decision the investigators make. The series is based on real events, though it presents a fictionalized version of the manhunt.
