What Season 1 of Motherland: Fort Salem

In an alternate version of the United States, witches ended their persecution almost three hundred years ago in exchange for fighting for the country. Raelle, Tally, and Abigail are three young women from very different backgrounds who accept recruitment and arrive at Fort Salem to learn combat magic. There, they train their voices by joining sounds called seeds, as they prepare to face the Spiral, a group that kills as a form of protest. All three want to master their powers, but military discipline makes them see the flaws in the system they now belong to. Tally doubts her choice, and Raelle gets closer to Scylla as she uncovers her past.
