Synopsis of Motherland: Fort Salem

Raelle, Tally and Abigail are three young witches from very different backgrounds. They accept recruitment into the United States' army of witches and arrive at Fort Salem, where they learn to fight with magic. Their mission is to confront the Spiral, a group of witches who murder people as a form of protest. To cast their spells, they train their voices, combining vocal sounds called seeds. They want to master their powers, but as they adapt to military discipline, they begin to see the flaws in the system they now belong to. Created by Eliot Laurence and aired on Freeform, the series features Taylor Hickson, Jessica Sutton and Ashley Nicole Williams in the main cast.
