Synopsis of My Heart Beats for Lola Volcán
Dolores Volcán, Lola, is a young woman who cannot cry, not even in the most painful moments of her life. Since childhood she has been in love with Andrés Santacruz, who calls her "My salamander" because she climbs trees nonstop, and who covers the walls with salamander drawings bearing the caption "I love Lola Volcán." The two grow up believing their relationship will last forever, but his family does not accept her. When Andrés is sent to military academy, Marcelo Santacruz seizes the opportunity to keep Lola away from his son. Created by Julio Jiménez and Valentina Párraga, the story airs on Telemundo and pits a love that refuses to give up against a father determined to stop it.
