What Season 1 of Pokémon

Ash Ketchum is ten years old and lives in Pallet Town, in the Kanto region. He dreams of becoming a Pokémon Master, the highest class of trainer, and Professor Oak gives him a Pikachu instead of one of the three usual starter Pokémon. He soon discovers that collecting Gym Badges costs far more than he imagined. He is joined by Brock and Misty, former gym leaders, and Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander also come along. The main obstacle is Team Rocket, made up of Jessie, James and Meowth, who try to steal valuable Pokémon, starting with Pikachu itself. The journey takes the group to cities such as Pewter, Cerulean, Vermilion and Saffron, as well as on a cruise ship.
