Battle Frontier
What Season 9 of Pokémon
Even though Kanto feels familiar, Ash and Brock run into surprises in their own region. Ash searches for the hidden facilities of the Battle Frontier and, once inside, must face the Battle Frontier Brains, far tougher rivals than any Gym Leader. May returns to Contests with her eyes on the Kanto Grand Festival. Along the way, the group runs into Team Rocket, which relies on disguises and traps, and a Pokémon Ranger investigating cases involving two legendary Pokémon. Harley, May's former rival, also appears and vows to defeat her.
