What Season 1 of Smiling Friends

The season opens with a seemingly simple phone call. A woman asks for help to get her son, Desmond, smiling again. The story takes place in Philadelphia, where a small nonprofit makes it its mission to bring smiles to its clients. Pim and Charlie answer the phone line. Pim is cheerful and eager to help, while Charlie is cynical and more practical. Together they try to solve each case, but the problems get more complicated than they first seemed, and the plot fills with increasingly outlandish adventures. Allan Red and Glep work with them at times, and the office manager completes a very eccentric group.
