Synopsis of Smiling Friends
Smiling Friends is an adult animated series created by Zach Hadel and Michael Cusack for Adult Swim's late-night lineup. It is set in Philadelphia, where a small nonprofit organization is dedicated to bringing smiles to its clients. Charlie and Pim are two of its employees and handle the organization's phone line. Pim is cheerful, optimistic and eager to help, while Charlie is cynical and more practical. Together they try to solve the problems of the callers, but every case turns out to be more tangled than it seemed. Their coworkers Allan Red and Glep sometimes lend a hand, and the office manager is also part of this eccentric group.
