What Season 1 of The Fosters

Stef Foster is a police officer in San Diego, and Lena Adams, a high school vice principal, has been with her for more than ten years. Together they're raising a blended family: Brandon, Stef's biological son, and twins Mariana and Jesús, of Hispanic descent, adopted at age five. When Lena decides to foster Callie and Jude, two siblings who have been through several homes with abusive families, the household begins to change. The season follows the tensions within each family member, from disagreements over Brandon's education to the relationship between Jesús and Lexi, as the two newcomers try to find their place.
