The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst
What Season 1 of The Jinx
Robert Durst, heir to a powerful New York real estate family, is the subject of this documentary series. The filmmakers examine three unsolved cases in which he has been named as a suspect: the disappearance of his wife Kathie in 1982, the death of writer Susan Berman in Los Angeles, and the case of his neighbor Morris Black in Galveston, Texas. Durst, who had never spoken publicly before, answers questions from Andrew Jarecki. Investigators follow a trail of remains found in a Texas bay, which leads them to the millionaire. To reconstruct events, the production combines interviews, news and security camera footage, police evidence and archival material.
