What Season 1 of The Lady's Companion
Elena Bianda is a chaperone hired on a trial basis by Don Pedro Mencía to watch over his three unmarried daughters: Cristina, Sara, and Carlota. The story is set in Madrid, in an era with a Galdós-like feel, where every outing and every visit is governed by very strict social norms. Elena needs to earn the family's trust while the sisters look for husbands. Romantic entanglements and scandals complicate her assignment. Among suitors, secrets from the past, and the household's charming godson, the chaperone must decide how far she is willing to go along with the rules. Nadia de Santiago and Álvaro Mel lead the cast.
