Zoe Bonafonte

At fifteen, she convinced her mother to trade Barcelona for Madrid after spending a school year in the United States on a scholarship. She wanted to study acting seriously. She entered the classes of Juan Codina and Cristina Rota, added vocal training and learned to play the drums before turning eighteen.

And her discipline paid off right away.

Her on-camera debut came in 2022 with the relentless pace of daily television. She played Susi for more than twenty episodes of Amar es para siempre, a school where memorizing pages against the clock determines the survival of any up-and-coming actor. That same year she shot the miniseries Escándalo, relato de una obsesión.

El autobús de Torre Baró

In 2024, Marcel Barrena cast her as Joana in El 47, a historical drama about the neighborhood uprising that transformed Barcelona's working-class outskirts in the late 1970s. Sharing the screen with Eduard Fernández and Clara Segura did not overshadow her. The Academy of Cine recognized her work with a Goya nomination for Best Actress Revelation at the 39th edition.

That nomination brought a flood of calls from the industry.

In 2025 she moved into romantic melodrama with El secreto del orfebre, directed by Olga Osorio, where she played the younger version of the character Michelle Jenner. She also appeared in the series Manual para señoritas for the Netflix platform.

The Leap into Prison Drama

In 2026 Daniel Monzón cast her as the lead in Ruega por nosotras. The film is set in a reform school run by the Patronato de Protección a la Mujer during the final years of Franco's regime. She plays Ana, a young woman forcibly committed to a disciplinary institution.

But her schedule took on other commitments that same year.

In 2026, she also shot the dance film A fuego under Estel Díaz, as well as the feature films Marfil and Ébano, directed by Óscar Pedraza for the production company Pokeepsie Films. In 2027, she signed on for the drama Veleta, directed by Paco Torres, building a filmography of seven feature films before turning twenty-four.
