What Season 3 of The Muppet Show

Every week, a theater stages a music hall-style variety show with songs, dance numbers and sketches. Gustavo, the frog who directs and hosts the show, has to keep his colleagues' antics in check and, on top of that, control his own temper. Each show features a guest star who must be introduced and looked after while the rest of the cast prepares their acts. Behind the scenes, side stories unfold that eventually collide with the show. Miss Piggy is consumed by growing jealousy, Gonzo keeps up his daring stunts, and Fozzie contributes his own routines. Everything happens at once, and Gustavo must somehow pull off the show.
