What Season 1 of Ugly Americans
Mark Lilly is an optimistic social worker who moves to Manhattan, a city where humans, monsters and other creatures coexist. He is hired by the Integration Department, which is in charge of making life easier for nonhuman beings. He shares an apartment with Randall, a lazy zombie obsessed with sex. At the office, he has to deal with Twayne, a bureaucratic demon who looks down on his job, and Leonard, a wizard who would rather do nothing. His boss, Callie, is a temperamental succubus with whom he has an on-again, off-again relationship. The main conflict comes with Frank Grimes, head of the Law Enforcement Department, who treats creatures as if they were outside the law. Mark wants to help anyone who needs it, but his limited knowledge of the city's species leads him into constant mistakes.
