Luna Blaise

Filming as a Playground

Luna Blaise was born in Los Angeles in 2001, surrounded by cameras and scripts. Her father directed music videos and her mother worked in the industry as a talent manager. Acting was therefore not a conscious choice but a natural extension of her childhood.

She started working in national commercials at the age of five.

In 2013, she appeared in the short film Memories of Poly under the executive production of James Franco. It was her first contact with independent cinema, and it shaped how she understood the craft. The real mass exposure came on network television a couple of years later.

Prime-Time Visibility

Between 2015 and 2018, she played Nicole in the ABC comedy Fresh Off the Boat. Her character started as a recurring presence and grew into a major part of the main storyline over several seasons. She won the Young Artist Award for Best Performance by a Young Actress in a Recurring Role in 2016 for this work.

And then came the mystery of flight 828.

In 2018, she joined the cast of Manifest to play Olive Stone. The NBC series went through a cancellation and later a rescue by Netflix, which changed the course of the entire team. Over 62 episodes, Blaise portrayed the growth of a teenager dealing with the disappearance and return of her family (a dramatic arc that extended until 2023).

The Path to the Major Studios

She balanced television with a music career that launched in 2017 with the single Over You. She never aimed to be a manufactured pop star. She oversaw the aesthetics of her own music videos and sought a more personal sound, away from commercial radio formats.

In 2023, she starred in Deltopia under the direction of Michael J. Sutherland. The film follows a group of young people partying wild in Santa Barbara after high school graduation. It was a low-budget shoot that demanded constant physical intensity from the cast.

Her definitive leap into big-budget productions was confirmed in 2024.

Universal Pictures cast her in a lead role in Jurassic World Rebirth, with a release date set for July 2025. This installment was shot in Thailand and at Sky Studios Elstree in the UK, directed by Gareth Edwards. The production had a budget of over $\200 million.
