### Tan Jianci: The chameleon of the Chinese screen who has conquered television

In today's Asian entertainment landscape, few names resonate with the strength and versatility of Tan Jianci (also known as JC-T). This multi-talented artist began his career in the industry as one of the lead vocalists of the iconic boy band M.I.C., and has achieved a model transition into acting, establishing himself as one of the most respected and magnetic performers of his generation.

From Music Stages to Acting Stardom

Born in Beihai, Guangxi, Tan Jianci's training in dance and music gave him the discipline and body control that have been fundamental to his acting career. After years of success in the C-pop industry, his definitive move into acting was no accident, but the result of a constant search for complex characters. After standing out in period productions such as Advisors Alliance, where he demonstrated his ability for historical drama, his name began to make waves in the offices of Beijing's leading production companies.

The Breakthrough with ‘Under the Skin’ and ‘Lost You Forever’

The turning point that changed the course of his career was, without a doubt, his leading role in the crime thriller ‘Under the Skin’ (La imagen del crimen). His portrayal of Shen Yi, a talented police painter haunted by his past, captivated both specialized critics and the general public, raising the bar for suspense dramas on Chinese television. His chemistry with his co-stars and his ability to convey vulnerability and sharp intellect opened the doors to major big-budget productions.

Shortly after, his role in the fantasy phenomenon ‘Lost You Forever’ launched him to international stardom. Playing Xiang Liu, the nine-headed demon, Tan Jianci delivered a performance full of nuance, melancholy and sacrifice that became the emotional heart of the series for millions of viewers.

Recent Projects and Artistic Maturity

In his most recent phase, Tan Jianci has continued to diversify his range. The premiere of the second season of ‘Under the Skin’ has reaffirmed his status as the go-to face of the mystery genre, while his foray into modern romantic comedy with ‘Love Has Fireworks’ has shown his more charismatic and down-to-earth side.

Beyond his presence on the small screen, he has strengthened his film career and kept his passion for music alive. His latest music releases and concert tours, such as the acclaimed “DREAMS” tour, show that he remains a well-rounded artist who can fill stadiums while topping viewership charts on streaming platforms.

A Benchmark of Elegance and Talent

Beyond his professional achievements, Tan Jianci has become a style icon and a sought-after ambassador for international luxury brands.
