Humberto Suárez turns 80 and begins to wonder what legacy he will leave behind. Instead of funding the construction of a bridge, this multimillionaire decides to finance a film so that people will remember his name fondly. To direct it, he hires Lola Cuevas, an eccentric filmmaker who rarely appears in public and has already won the Palme d'Or. The screenplay is based on an award-winning novel about a man who cannot forgive his brother, who killed their parents in a drunk-driving accident. For the roles of the two brothers, Cuevas chooses Iván Torres, a stage actor, and Félix Rivero, a Hollywood actor. Both arrive at the project with very different working methods, and their differences in approach begin to clash.
