Isle of Dogs

A dystopian Japan, 20 years from now. Dog overpopulation has reached epidemic proportions in Megasaki. A canine flu outbreak is spreading, so Mayor Kobayashi issues an emergency order placing the city under quarantine. Trash Island is where all the dogs are taken. There, a pack of fearsome alpha dogs, led by Chief, has lost all hope of ever returning to their owners. Until one day, Atari, a 12-year-old boy and the nephew of the villainous Mayor, arrives on the island piloting a plane. His goal is to find his dog, Spots. Wherever he is, the boy and the dog pack will find him.
