A train crosses Arizona carrying a Japanese ambassador. He is headed to Washington with a ceremonial sword, a gift from the emperor for the President of the United States, and is accompanied by a group of samurai who guard his safety. Link Stuart and Gauche lead a gang of outlaws who have set their sights on the convoy. Their goal is to rob it and make off with four hundred thousand dollars in gold. The presence of the sword adds a value the plan never anticipated. The film is directed by Terence Young and stars Alain Delon, Charles Bronson, Toshiro Mifune and Ursula Andress.
