Roberto and Lucía move into Apartment A at 3 Desengaño Street, in the center of Madrid, excited to have a place of their own without imagining what the people they'll share the stairwell with are like. The building dates from the 19th century and has three floors, six apartments, a concierge's lodge, an attic used as storage, and an adjoining space. Among the neighbors are Vicenta and Marisa, two retired sisters who are very nosy about other people's business, and Mauri and Fernando, a gay couple who try to pretend they're just friends because of Fernando's prejudices. Juan Cuesta, the building's president, lives with his family in Apartment 2A. The series, created by Iñaki Ariztimuño and Alberto Caballero, airs on Antena 3 and features an ensemble cast including Malena Alterio, Mariví Bilbao, Gemma Cuervo, José Luis Gil, Luis Merlo, Guillermo Ortega, Emma Penella and Fernando Tejero.
