What Season 1 of Black Bird
Jimmy Keene, once a promising football player, is now dealing drugs in the Chicago area. A police operation lands him in prison, where he accepts a plea deal that goes wrong: prosecutors add weapons charges and sentence him to ten years with no chance of parole. Then he gets an offer. If he transfers to a maximum-security facility for criminals with mental disorders and wins the trust of Larry Hall, a suspected serial killer, he must find out where several young victims are buried before his appeal is resolved. Agent McCauley prepares him for the mission while Inspector Miller interrogates Larry. Jimmy, increasingly scared, has to keep up the deception as Larry starts to grow suspicious.
