What Season 1 of Blue Bloods

Frank Reagan is the police commissioner of the New York Police Department, a position his father held before him. His family, Irish-American and Catholic, has served in the city’s law enforcement for generations. Danny is a detective, Jamie is a patrol officer and Erin is an assistant district attorney, each working from a different part of police or judicial work. Their stories often intersect, though they must uphold their own professional loyalties to colleagues and partners. The season opens with the kidnapping of a seven-year-old girl, which leads Danny to resort to unconventional methods. Later, a rape case shielded by diplomatic immunity, a bomb in Manhattan attributed to Islamic Jihad and a deadly drug that kills three teenagers put the Reagans to the test.
