What Season 2 of El Chavo del Ocho

The season kicks off with El Chavo, an eight-year-old orphan boy whom everyone calls by that name, and whose real name is never revealed. He lives in a vecindad (a shared apartment building) in Mexico City, and nearly all the action takes place in the courtyard, by the barrel and the laundry area. Don Ramón, out of work and months behind on rent, runs away from Mr. Barriga every time he shows up. Doña Florinda looks down on her neighbors, and Doña Clotilde, a single woman in apartment 71, sparks the children's curiosity. Along with Quico and La Chilindrina, El Chavo gets caught up in misunderstandings, mix-ups and mischief. The episodes mix slapstick, irony and pranks, all set to laugh tracks.
