What Season 5 of F is for Family

Season five opens with the Murphys in Rustvale, Pennsylvania, in 1973, still dealing with their own failings. Frank, a Korean War veteran and baggage handler, faces a family funeral where he keeps his feelings to himself. Sue wants to start her own business while trying to keep the peace with her father. Kevin remains devoted to his electric guitar, and Bill longs for someone to take him seriously, while Maureen gets into trouble over her scientific curiosity. Frank tries to keep order at home, but everyone goes their own way, and the series blends humor with the unease of a suburb that longs for another era.
