What Season 5 of Girls

Season five finds Hannah putting her ambitions as a writer on hold to teach classes alongside Fran, her new boyfriend, a relationship her friends beg her not to ruin. Marnie is getting ready to marry Desi, her partner in life and in music, and after returning from the honeymoon she feels she needs more space. Jessa, who is training to become a therapist, gets into a budding relationship and tries to stay under the radar. Shoshanna, with a thriving job in Japan, struggles with the distance from Scott. Through it all, the friendship among the four is put to the test.
