What Season 1 of Godless

Roy Goode, a young wounded outlaw, flees from Frank Griffin, the man who raised him after he was orphaned. Now Griffin is hunting him across the West, determined not to let him go. Roy no longer tolerates the way his former mentor operates and seeks to get away from him for good. His path leads him to La Belle, a small New Mexico town inhabited almost entirely by women after most of the men died in a mining accident. There, Sheriff Bill McNue governs alongside his sister Mary Agnes and his deputy Whitey Winn. Roy's presence threatens to bring danger to a community that has already suffered enough. Jack O'Connell plays Roy, and the cast is completed by Michelle Dockery, Scoot McNairy and Merritt Wever.
