Godless

In 1884, Roy Goode, a young wounded outlaw, flees from his former boss, Frank Griffin, the man who raised him after he was orphaned and who now hunts him across the West. Roy can no longer stand Griffin's behavior and wants to get away from him, though his former mentor has no intention of letting him go. His path leads him to La Belle, a small New Mexico town inhabited almost entirely by women, where nearly all the men died in a mining accident. There, a community is governed by Sheriff Bill McNue, along with his sister Mary Agnes and his deputy Whitey Winn. Roy looks for a place to hide, but his presence threatens to bring danger to a town that has already suffered far too much. The series, created by Scott Frank for Netflix, brings together Jack O'Connell, Michelle Dockery, Scoot McNairy and Merritt Wever.
