What Season 1 of Life

Charlie Crews walks out of Pelican Bay State Prison in Los Angeles in 2007 after twelve years serving a life sentence for a triple murder he didn't commit. A DNA test clears him and, thanks to his lawsuit against the city and the Police Department, he gets his badge back and becomes a millionaire. Returning to the force isn't easy. His new partner, Detective Dani Reese, has just overcome a drug addiction and is suspicious of his eccentricities, while Lieutenant Karen Davis keeps an eye on him and looks for ways to push him out. Crews, with a Zen outlook on life, wants to rebuild what he lost and figure out what really happened. Created by Rand Ravich, the series airs on NBC and stars Damian Lewis.
