What Season 1 of Los Serrano

Diego Serrano is a widower raising his three children alone in the Madrid neighborhood of Santa Justa, next to the Manzanares riverbank. A flat tire on the way to the beach brings him back together with Lucía Gómez, his first boyfriend, who is divorced and the mother of Eva and Teté. After the wedding, Lucía and her daughters move into the Serrano house, and the differences between the brothers and stepsisters create tension from the start. The parents also clash over their parenting methods. The season revolves around a battle of the sexes: the women are neurotic and sophisticated, while the men are simple, stubborn and somewhat macho. The Hermanos Serrano tavern serves as the setting for much of the storylines.
