What Season 1 of Master of None

Dev Shah is a 30-year-old actor living in New York and trying to make his way in the entertainment industry. Between auditions, temp jobs and plenty of doubts about his future, he tries to get a grip on a personal life that is slipping through his fingers. His closest friends are Brian, the son of Taiwanese immigrants, and Denise, the group's voice of reason, who doesn't hesitate to laugh at everyone else's decisions. Each episode tackles the everyday struggles of a young man who wants to succeed without missing out on enjoying the city. Dating, family, subtle racism at auditions and a relationship with Rachel set the pace of the season. Aziz Ansari and Alan Yang created the series for Netflix.
