What Season 5 of Monk

Season five kicks off with Adrian Monk, a homicide detective with obsessive-compulsive disorder that complicates every aspect of his life. Natalie Teeger convinces him to open his own private detective office. His first job seems trivial, a simple dent in a car, but the case soon gets complicated. From there, Monk faces very different matters: a garbage collectors' strike, a murder at a high school reunion and an assault that leaves him blind. Along with Natalie, Captain Stottlemeyer and Lieutenant Disher form the core of characters who cross paths in every investigation, while his ability to notice details lets him solve the cases.
