What Season 6 of Murdoch Mysteries

Toronto, 1895. Detective William Murdoch kicks off the season with the murder of a veteran of a brutal battle in North Africa, who was killed by a sword thrust. The main suspect is a fellow soldier of the victim, who turns out to be Winston Churchill. Murdoch follows the evidence using methods ahead of his time, such as fingerprinting, blood analysis and surveillance. He also takes on other cases: the crash of a flying machine that hides sabotage, a toxic gas threatening the city, and a death some attribute to a ghost. Crabtree defends paranormal explanations, while Murdoch trusts science.
