What Season 1 of Nip/Tuck

The season opens with Sean and Christian running McNamara/Troy, their cosmetic surgery clinic in Miami. Things get complicated when Christian operates on a Colombian drug trafficker who isn't who he claims to be, putting both of their lives in danger. Sean, meanwhile, struggles against the temptation of the patients who walk through his office every day, and his marriage to Julia suffers as a result. The clinic is also shaken by a serious lapse by Sean during an operation and by Merrill Bobolit, an underqualified surgeon who takes on any case and steals their clients. Each episode follows the people undergoing surgery while the doctors carry their own personal dilemmas.

And Joey Slotnick plays Merrill Bobolit, a hack surgeon who's more successful than Sean and Christian because of his willingness to take on any client.
