What Season 1 of Outlander

Year 1945. Claire Randall, a nurse hardened by World War II, travels to Scotland with her husband Frank. After witnessing a ritual ceremony, she is transported to 1743, right in the middle of the tension between the English army and the Scottish clans. There, she is met with suspicion: she is English, educated and, to many, a possible spy or a witch. Her top priority remains finding a way back to her own time. However, the arrival of Jamie Fraser, a chivalrous Scottish rebel, complicates her plans and leaves her torn between two incompatible worlds.
