Synopsis of RESIDENT EVIL: Infinite Darkness

In 2006, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield investigate a disturbing discovery: someone has broken into secret presidential files stored on the White House network without permission. Leon, a U.S. federal agent, is tasked with finding out who is behind the intrusion. Before heading to Washington, the first episode flashes back to 2000 to show the war in Penamstan, in Asia. When the presidential headquarters suffers a mysterious attack, Leon runs into zombies and begins to suspect the cyberattack was only the beginning of something much bigger. The miniseries, directed by Eiichirō Hasumi and released on Netflix, is set between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5.
