What Season 1 of Boundless

The series begins in August 1519, when Ferdinand Magellan's expedition sets sail from Seville bound for the Indies. At the head of the fleet travels the Portuguese captain, played by Rodrigo Santoro, determined to carve a path through unexplored territory. Sailing alongside him is Juan Sebastián Elcano, the Spanish seaman brought to life by Álvaro Morte. The two are opposing personalities who move toward a common goal. Among the 237 crew members, many are chasing fortune, prestige and fame. The voyage becomes a constant tug-of-war, where mutinies, betrayals and rivalry with the Portuguese fleet hit everyone hard. Written by Patxi Amezcua and aired on Amazon Prime Video and RTVE.
