What Season 1 of Ted Lasso

Ted Lasso, an American coach with no experience in soccer, arrives in London to manage AFC Richmond, a Premier League club. He has been secretly hired by Rebecca Welton, who has just taken full ownership of the team after divorcing Rupert. Her plan is for Ted to fail and for the club to ruin her ex-husband, who loves the team so much. But the coach, friendly and optimistic, clashes head-on with players and fans who doubt his methods. Roy and Jamie are the main sources of tension, while Dani Rojas and Keeley round out a locker room that Ted must win over little by little. The season revolves around whether his way of understanding the game can work.
