What Season 1 of The IT Crowd
Roy Trenneman and Maurice Moss run the IT department at Reynholm Industries from a filthy, cluttered basement, far from the offices where the rest of the staff works. Socially awkward and considered geeks, they look down on a company that needs their expertise but pays them no attention. Roy handles problems with tech support clichés and avoids the phone. The arrival of Jen Barber, the new head of the department, shakes up that routine. Jen knows nothing about computers, and her coworkers try to get her to admit it. Meanwhile, she wins the trust of Daniel, a furious security guard, and discovers a forbidden door that leads to an eccentric character. Moss's lies and a dinner Jen has with a colleague create even more chaos.
