What Season 2 of Veep

Season two kicks off after the midterm elections, with Selina Meyer's approval ratings higher than usual in the polls. She wants to ride that momentum to gain clout in the White House, so she flatters the president and Kent Davison, her new chief strategist. Problems pile up: the hostage crisis in Uzbekistan, a government shutdown that forces her to send part of her team on leave, and rumors about her ex-husband, Andrew. Amy, Gary and Mike try to keep their boss from sinking, and Selina is determined to leave her mark.
