What Season 1 of Wilfred

Ryan Newman is a young lawyer who can't get ahead and is stuck in a deep depression in California. When his new neighbor, Jenna, asks him to look after her dog during the day, Ryan discovers that he's the only one who sees Wilfred as a man in a dog costume. Rude, pushy and a bad influence, Wilfred pushes Ryan to do things he would never dare to do. The episodes explore his relationships with Jenna, her sister and the neighbors, while the protagonist wonders whether this companion will help him make sense of his life or just get him into trouble.
