Ariana Greenblatt

The discipline of the child set

Ariana Greenblatt was born in New York City in 2007. She did not attend conventional acting schools because the pace of the industry pulled her in before she turned ten.

In 2016, she joined the Disney factory with the series Stuck in the Middle. There she filmed 57 episodes playing Daphne Diaz and learned to work under the pressure of multicam sets and daily scripts.

Television was her training ground.

But film came quickly. In 2017, she appeared in the comedy A Bad Moms Christmas, and a year later she landed a brief role in the most profitable franchise of the century. She played the young version of Gamora in Avengers: Infinity War during 2018. The appearance lasted only a few minutes, but it put her on the radar of major Burbank productions.

The leap into mass-market franchises

The entertainment industry often devours child actors. Greenblatt avoided getting stuck by taking on projects in very different genres between 2020 and 2022.

In 2020, she worked on Love and Monsters and voiced animated characters in Scoob!. She also took part in the stage musical adaptation of In the Heights in 2021, directed by Jon M. Chu. Her pay for these productions began to climb in proportion to her screen time.

Time for bold bets.

During 2023, she played Sasha in Barbie. The film grossed more than $1,400 million at the global box office. That same period, she appeared in the series Ahsoka, playing a young Ahsoka Tano in the Star Wars universe. It was a strategic move because it tied her to two of the most active fan communities in the international market.

And the strategy paid off.

In 2024, she took on the role of Tiny Tina in the film adaptation of Borderlands. Shooting in Hungary required intense physical training to handle heavy prop weapons and coordinate action sequences with pyrotechnic effects. The film had an estimated budget of $115 million.
