Millie Bobby Brown was born in Marbella on February 19, 2004. That geographic detail is usually the first line of her profiles in Spain, although her British family soon moved to Florida to find a foothold in the recording studios. Her real acting debut came in 2013 with a minor role in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, but the industry took another three years to truly take notice of her.

Filming the first season of Stranger Things in 2016 required her to shave her head completely. It was an aesthetic decision that ended up defining the look of the series and launched her into a global fame that was hard to handle for a preteen.

Filming The Electric State in 2025, directed by the Russo brothers, marked her definitive move into big-budget movies beyond teen horror. And Brown has known how to choose projects where her public image doesn't rely solely on 1980s nostalgia.

Investments and Personal Brands

Outside the studio, she launched her own cosmetics line, Florence by Mills, aimed at audiences her own age. The brand was valued at millions of euros shortly after hitting the market, giving her full financial independence before she turned twenty.

In May 2024, she married Jake Bongiovi in a private ceremony that British tabloids tried, unsuccessfully, to crash. That event closed a chapter of constant public scrutiny over her private life, which she always tried to protect with a very aggressive communications team.

The contract for the final season of her flagship series set a salary of 10 million dollars for the final episodes filmed between 2024 and 2025.
