32 Malasana Street

In 1976, during the Spanish transition, the Olmedo family leaves the countryside and settles in Madrid. Manolo and Candela arrive with their three children and their grandfather, who suffers from senile dementia, at an apartment in the Malasaña neighborhood. The Olmedos try to start over in a city shaken by politics. Among the children, Pepe stammers, Amparo is 17 years old, and little Rafael is five. The calm doesn't last long, because as soon as they cross the threshold of their new flat, they begin to sense that something is with them. The family will have to learn to live with this strange presence while trying to keep up the appearance of a normal life.
