In 1609, in the Basque provinces of Bourbon France, the reign of Henry IV of Navarre orders the region cleared of the devil's presence. Five young women are arrested on charges of witchcraft after rumors and sightings of their activities in the forest late at night spread. The task of judging them falls to Judge Rostegui, who has no intention of waiting. His goal is to extract a confession and have them tell him everything they know about the akelarre, a ceremony with magical connotations. Directed by Pablo Agüero, the film stars Amaia Aberasturi and Àlex Brendemühl, who embody the clash between authority and the young women accused.
