Drive - The Pretenders

A young race car mechanic works in her garage and dreams of getting behind the wheel of one of those high-powered machines. Her chance comes with an unusual deal: she agrees to pose as the fiancée of motorsport's most scandalous star, a driver whose fame clashes with the discretion the arrangement requires. Officially, the engagement is meant to protect his reputation. For her, however, it's a way to get close to the wheel without anyone knowing. Directed by Sergej Moya, with a screenplay by Christoph Silber. The story moves between the garage, the racetracks and the first encounters, where both must keep up a charade that each handles in their own way.
